Adam Farmer is on a long bike trip to see his father in Vermont, but as he rides, memories of what got him to this point resurface, leading him to chilling realizations about his own past. As he tries to ascertain who he really is, he is also terrified of what his memory holds. Narrative threads and recollections build with suspense to form a mosaic with a missing father, espionage, government corruption—and murder.
